Abdullah Hassan is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He has extensive experience working in psychiatric facilities for the past 6 years, as well as teaching undergraduate and master’s level nursing students for the past 5 years.

His educational background includes a master’s degree in nursing as well as a post master’s certificate in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and a bachelor’s degree in biology.

Abdullah takes a holistic approach to mental health care, recognizing that the body is intricately intertwined with the soul. Thus, excellent mental health begins with taking care of the soul. He encourages patients to not only focus on medications, but also lifestyle habits, diet, exercise, and finding meaning in life through having a purpose to live.

His areas of focus include the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric diseases.
